Day 27 - August 26: Manzanita OR

 Rest day.

Another (and our last of the trip; so sad.....) restful rest day.  I eventually pried myself from sitting on my bed looking out at the ocean to waddle to the local breakfast place called "Yolk".  I say "waddle" because once again I think I have probably gained weight on this trip.  Yes, I pedal longish distances everyday but between super SAG stops every 20 miles and delicious dinners made by Emily every night, my belly is forever full.  Just eat less you say.  Of course, but no......  Anyway, breakfast was delicious.

Walked up and down main street; that took about 10 minutes.  Most of the shops don't open until 11, but there was a lovely little community garden.

The little grocery store was open for business.  I bought a few little things but managed to put this one back in the freezer..........

Goin' for a walk.  Here's our motel.

Blackberry bushes lined the road, and I may have stopped to snack several times.

Oh - I think I see now where the first climb will take us tomorrow.............

Real estate here is pretty pricey.  Many of the homes close to the ocean are vacation rentals.

The count-down is on.............  Three more days.  Where has it gone??
